Kerstin Cmelka – Microdramas

Microdramas are short popular pieces whose content is generally known. However, they may change author and setting, may be professionally practised or activated spontaneously. The point is a physical and rhythmic learning process.

Kerstin Cmelka, born 1974 in Mödling, Austria, 1999-2005 studied at HfbK – Städelschule in Frankfurt/Main, Lives in  Berlin and Frankfurt/Main. Participation in exhibitions, e.g. 50 Moons. Turin Triennale, 2008; Die Wahrnehmung von Ideen führt zu neuen Ideen, Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen, Düsseldorf, 2008; Schnecke, Vogel, Katze und Qualle, Galerie Mezzanin, 2008, 2nd Moscow Biennale for Contemporary Art, 2007. In the context of Hotel Marienbad 005: Ann Cotten: Criticism & Cover there will be readings, talks and presentations of curious artwork in the hotel room.
