Twenty years after the death of Michel Majerus, the Germany-wide exhibition series Michel Majerus 2022 is dedicated to various aspects and work phases in the artist’s œuvre. In Berlin alone, four solo exhibitions present Michel Majerus’ work for the first time on this scale.
As part of the Art Walk, we will visit three of these exhibition venues together: KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Galerie Neugerriemschneider and Neuer Berliner Kunstverein (n.b.k.). In direct comparison, techniques, materials, conceptual starting points and the development of artistic style in the work of Michel Majerus can be traced and offer a deep insight into his work.
