What is a “camera obscura”? How is it constructed and how does it work?
Inspired by the current exhibition by artist Pia Arke, you will explore the topic of self-portraits and the space surrounding us.
You will build your own simple pinhole cameras and experiment with your viewing habits and perception. You will then take self-portraits in small groups – using photographic means and a sensitized eye. The resulting portraits will then be collaged into two- and three-dimensional landscapes.
