Workshop on forms of solidarity in care work

B*tches and Babies is aimed at all people who have children, want to have children, decide against having children, or are discriminated against due to their desire to have children. The exhibition The Making of Husbands: Christina Ramberg in Dialogue served as a prelude to regularly organized meetings on questions of maternity*, care work and new parenting to steer them into productive spaces for action.

Based on the sketched silhouettes of thoughts on and criticism of prevailing models of care work that emerged during the last event in January, this workshop is visually as well as regards to content devoted to the question of how the established convention of private care could be solidarized in our society.

The workshop will be followed by a joint tour through the exhibitions at KW.

B*tches & Babies #3: Solidarity! takes place in solidarity with the Equal Care Day (29 February 20), which aims to draw attention to the lack of appreciation and unequal division of care work. For further information, please visit the website equalcareday.de
