“In the very act of creating a piece, I am also thinking towards its end – when I will dismantle it. This experience too, of unstringing the wall and removing the nails, forms an integral part of my feeling of the whole piece.”
As a momentous end to the exhibition String Constructions by Miyamoto and in the spirit of the artist, visitors are invited to join the curatorial team in collectively cutting down the prominent sculpture Trail Dinosaur (1979) on the exhibition’s 3rd floor.
