fFee-feels fField fFelt is a voice performance by Adrienne Herr that explores the poetics and materiality of language. By delaying, stretching, stuttering, breaking, and juxtaposing phonetic components, the artist disassembles phrases and words that are often overused or emptied through repetition. With vocal techniques and scores akin to musical notation, Herr engages voice and body as activated agents within the field of language. The performance creates a dense, maximalist polyvocality that reflects on the interrelational nature of speech—how it contains us yet cannot be bound to us. Herr explores its capacity to connect to and embody another’s experiences, becoming a vehicle for empathy, while also considering its potential impossibility.
Adrienne Herr (b. 1991, USA) works with the voice and language through installation, live performance and the page. Recent and upcoming exhibitions and performances include Westfälischer Kunstverein, Münster (2026), digestivo, Madrid (2026); Shahin Zarinbal, Berlin (2025); Rosegarden, Berlin (2025); Bad Water, Knoxville (2025); and KM28, Berlin (2024). Her scores have appeared in publications such as Fieldnotes Journal, London, and Novembre Magazine, Paris. Sound recordings of her vocal works will be released by se Dessaisir Publishing, Melbourne, in 2026.

The event will take place in KW’s Pogo Bar. The Pogo Bar is located in a windowless, low-ceiling room in the basement vault of KW. Access to the Pogo Bar is possible with an elevator. The elevator is located in the courtyard behind Café Bravo on the left side. Please send us an e-mail in advance to reservation@kw-berlin.de so that we can reserve the elevator for you.
