For the third time—after the great success in 2006 and 2009—highlights of the Cologne KunstFilmBiennale are presented in Berlin. In Berlin the program from the 2009 Cologne biennale is supplemented by a selection of new films. Two stories of KW are devoted to films by Doug Aitken, Mirosław Bałka, Bjørn Melhus, Sam Taylor-Wood, and Javier Téllez, as well as works by the younger generation including Keren Cytter, Adam Leech, Dani Gal, and Alex McQuilkin. On the third floor the program is presented in four thematic archive stations. A fifth station is dedicated to works from last year's BILD-KUNST Promotional Award for experimental film competition. On the fourth floor all films can be seen on a large screen.
