Celebrating the publication of her new book Deux Soeurs, artist and filmmaker Beatrice Gibson presents an evening of poetry, film, and conversation together with Mason Leaver-Yap, KW Associate Curator.
The event will discuss representations of motherhood, gender, and disobedience—themes key to Gibson’s writing and her recent films upon which the book Deux Soeurs is based. The discussion will include an array of voices and moving images from Gibson’s peers and influences from the past, as well as consider how this chorus might act as a guide in an uncertain future.
