DJ Westfa

Over more than a decade ago DJ Westfa started organizing house events in his old hometown Amsterdam under the name, Our Society. Over the years his passion for house music grew significantly and it became a way of living. Booking Theo Parrish, Moodymann, Robert Owens, Jamie 3:26, Sadar Bahar & Lee Collins, Tama Sumo, Lakuti and countless others developed the inspiration to a point that he decided to take the spin behind the wheel and start expressing his soul into his own DJ sets.

Music has always been a great part of his life. With roots in Surinam, DJ Westfa approaches music in a more spiritual way. Westfa always translates his personality into his sets through energy, rhythms, percussions, soul and love. The power of music is infinite, that’s why DJ Westfa uses it to communicate, mourn, celebrate, love and live. As resident at one of Berlin’s most respected communities, Refuge Worldwide – he created his own, Our Society Radio. A show DJ Westfa invites guests and discusses topics regarding mental health, motivation, inspiration, balance, everything to create a personal conversation, all based around personally selected tracks by the guest.
