One Night Stand #4
Berlin-Weekly and insitu present projects that either began or will end in their own spaces, and stage single-night iterations of each at KW Institute for Contemporary Art. Jurgen Ostarhild shows Hashtag Poem (The Seconds Machine), a 4-hour live excerpt from his 194-day long project, which generates 16,777,216 million colors. The artist and musician Christopher Kline has been hosting public workshops and rehearsals at insitu for the last month; at KW he premiers the result, the first version of O.K – The Musical (Dress Rehearsals).
One Night Stand is a collaboration between KW and the Network of Berlin Independent Project spaces and Initiatives that aims to make the variety and quality of Berlin's project spaces accessible to a wider audience. The partners regularly invite a single or a group of projects to react to the institutional context and engage in conversation with it: Interventions, performances, lectures, talks, and screenings are conceptualized in relation to this collaborative framework, and the series is conceived as an experimental, open meeting point.
Team of O.K – The Musical (Dress Rehearsals): Christopher Kline (Director), insitu (Producer), Elisabeth Wood (Music Director), Leanne MacKay (Art Director), Sol Calero (Wardrobe and Production Manager), Derek Howard (Director of Photography/Lighting), Sílvia Torrus (Set Department), Kita Vielfalter (Sound Effects and Set Design), Carolina Jiménez (Stage Manager)
The project O.K – The Musical by Chrisopher Kline is supported by Berliner Projektfonds Kulturelle Bildung.
