In this two-hour workshop, we make use of inner images and the event of photography. We experiment with analog photography and the self. Using specially made pinhole cameras, we explore the place around us and allow time and memory to merge.  During the development process in the darkroom, we remain in search of the idea of the “third place”. We move between reality and representation and interweave space and identity.

Sarah Steiner is an artist and art mediator. Curious about the poetry of the ephemeral, the incomplete, the supposedly flawed she explores concepts of emptiness and silence, of  relationship, language and intimacy in her artistic practice, of body, space and time and explores the question of where the self ends and the other begins.
