Stefanie Schwarzwimmer’s video work Seedless Fruits is about the founding of a new company, whose product or service remains unknown. We glide through an impressive corporate headquarters, which progressively develops more and more cracks. The film is a satirical commentary on the abysses of neoliberal office worlds and alienated work in a self-sustaining construct of value creation without substance.
The video work includes sections in German with English subtitles and sections in English with German subtitles. Following the 30-minute screening, there will be an artist talk in German.
Stefanie Schwarzwimmer (b. 1990 in Linz) is a multimedia artist who lives and works in Berlin. From 2012 to 2018, she studied art and digital media at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Her diploma film, Silent Revolution, was awarded the Academy Prize. In 2017, Schwarzwimmer completed the Berlin Program for Artists, and in 2022 she participated in the Goldrausch Program. Her works have been exhibited internationally in solo and group exhibitions, including at Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Copenhagen (2020), at Deborah Bowmann in Brussels (solo, 2021), at the Kasseler Kunstverein (2022), and at the OÖKunstverein in Linz (solo, 2024).

Venue:
The performance will take place in the Pogo Bar at KW. The Pogo Bar is located in a windowless room with a low ceiling in the basement vault of KW. Access to the Pogo Bar is possible via an elevator. The elevator is located in the inner courtyard behind Café Bravo on the left-hand side. Access to the elevator requires the assistance of a KW employee. Please email us in advance at reservation@kw-berlin.de so that we can facilitate your visit.
Times:
Admission starts at 9 pm.
If required, we can offer you earlier admission from 8:45 pm so that you can familiarize yourself with the surroundings and choose your seat. Please register for this at reservation@kw-berlin.de.
The event may start with a delay.
Late admission after the start of the event is possible.
The duration of the event is approx. 60 minutes.
The event will be held without breaks.
Seating:
Chairs with backrests and beanbags will be provided.

The event has a normal volume.

The event is planned as a Relaxed Performance. This means that the performance will take place in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. You are free to move around, leave and come back whenever you like. The event is planned to be sensory-friendly. This means that care is taken to reduce strong sensory stimuli in order to create a place that is as pleasant as possible for everyone. Loud noises and intense lighting effects are avoided.
Language:
The event will mainly be held in German.
The event will be translated with German and English subtitles.
The written language can be accessed digitally in German and English using a QR code on site.
