Rosa Sijben’s new walking tour performance A Must See suggests new frames for KW’s immediate surroundings. Showing and using natural stages she sees, the artist leads this “situational choreography” loosely and directs the group’s attention to selected moments around them and to the own movement through them.

The tours leave at 17.30, 18, 19, and 19.30 h. The ticket sale begins at 5 pm on the day of the performance and a reservation of tickets is not possible.

Rosa Sijben studied at the Fine Arts department of the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and participated in the SOMA summer program in Mexico City. Upon graduating in 2012 she won the Fine Arts Award, the department prize for best graduation candidate. She has completed residencies in Alkmaar, NL (2012), Basel, CH (2013), and Mönchengladbach, DE (2014). Her first solo exhibition in Germany was on view at Kunstverein Düsseldorf, DE (2014).
