Talk: These Goods Are Available At…
Silvia Kolbowski’s 1995 project, These goods are available at____ displaced goods from one commercial storefront to another in a loop of seven storefronts (six in London; one in Paris), creating critical cultural readings through unexpected juxtapositions.
During initial exchanges between Kolbowski (1953, AR), Anna Gritz, and Kathrin Bentele, the intention was to re-stage These goods are available at__ again in Berlin, at a location near KW. This event will include a discussion about the original project and why it could not be re-staged in 2021, plus a screening of the short video that was a result of the attempt.
