Visible/Invisible

"Real human beings" populated Schlingensief's productions, became visible, left the stage, mingled with the passersby, and drew them into the action. Schlingensief was driven by a critique of representation and thus a critique of power, linked with the constant question as to who forms the conditions of representation regimens. In his Oeuvre the visible was to be made invisible and vice versa.
