In this year’s season 2, the exhibitions consider gestures, poses, and conditions of the body. The body’s limitations and potentials, boundaries and transgressions, its presence and absence are taken into account in Enrico David’s sculptures, Emily Wardill’s video installation, as well as Hervé Guibert’s photographs. In the workshop special: BDSM-basics with Caritia, participants are invited to explore the aesthetics and potentialities of the body together. In a practice based 3 hour-workshop, Caritia will share tools to navigate the expanding field of pleasure and desire in a contemporary affective landscape, and will give the group an overview on the current discourse and politics of BDSM through a queer lens.

Caritia is a berlin based educator, coach, and performer with over 20 years of experience in BDSM and kink practice. They are one of the three co-founders of Karada House, a queer collaborative art space that researches the boundaries, intersectionalities and politics of body, art and the multitude of interactions between them, and the online kink education Website Ohyesplease. Caritia is living in a queer, gender-fluid, BiPoC (afab) body, connecting with the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, and is also nd (neurodiverse).
