In the last 15 years, the focus of classical museum work has shifted. From the balance between exhibiting, collecting, researching and preserving, a significant focus on exhibiting has developed. Both in the economy of general attention as well as in the promotion practice, the spectacular potential of the exhibition is of course preferred. Together with the Bureau des Arts Plastiques, KW Institute for Contemporary Art intends to launch a series that addresses these and other questions: Curate or Die means the perspective with no alternative.
