Infrastructure equals power. It designates and enforces the perimeters of authority, sovereignty and ownership. Alongside the exhibition Christopher Kulendran Thomas: Another World, which recounts lost histories of revolutionary architecture, artist Rachel-Rose O’Leary, architect Galen Wolfe-Pauly and Shumi Bose discuss new kinds of architecture for citizen autonomy and self-determination beyond the logic of nation states.
This event kicks off a series of conversations presented in collaboration with the Institute of Contemporary Art London, introducing presented by earth.net, a new project bringing together collaborations across art, architecture and technology to build shared tools for cooperative economies. The series is part of the exhibition Christopher Kulendran Thomas: Another World, presented in parallel at KW Berlin and ICA London.
